Friends of Africa- Event Package, 2011

On the 8th October, 2011, Friends of Africa will meet to discuss Development Initiatives in Africa - with a special focus on the Nigeria's Energy and Tourism Industries. Professionals in Public and Private sectors across Canada will meet with some Governors from Nigeria to discuss strategic growth plans proposed by their governments, the challenges and opportunities for development in these sectors and ways to collaborate with Canada Corporations to provide the required infrastructure.



Casa Foundation will facilitate the interaction between these leaders through discussions led by the keynote speakers- Governor Fayemi, representing Nigeria's South West and Governor Abdul'aziz Abubakar Yari from the Northern Region. Professor Iyorwuese Hagher, Nigerian High Commissioner to Canada, Lucien Bradet, President of the Canadian Council on Africa, alongside other Corporate CEOs, will share perspectives from Canada.
