Casa Book Drive – Hope for Youths

This program is designed to empower youths and the illiterate. According to a UNESCO report on literacy rate of the Black Community: “176 million adults are unable to read and write,  47 million youths (ages 15-24) are illiterate and 21 million adolescents are not in school.”

This situation is quite alarming but you can do something about it!  Help to empower and educate Youths. Illiteracy directly correlates to poverty, poor health, poor community development and active citizenship and empowerment.  It denies people of opportunities! You can make a difference today!

Can you organize a Casa Book Drive in your community or local church? Every little bit helps.

CasaFoundation can arrange to pick-up the the books or you can drop them at our designated locations. We will take care of distributing them to communities where they are needed most. Complete our donation “In Kind” form to inform us of your donation.

Don’t have time to organize a book drive? You can still support this worthy cause by making monetary donations online or sending a check to Casa Foundation. For more information, send an email to [email protected] and one of our coordinators will be happy to assist you.

We appreciate your support. Complete our donation “In Kind” form to inform us of your donation.
