This program is designed to empower youths and the illiterate. According to a UNESCO report on Sub-Saharan Africa: “176 million adults are unable to read and write,  47 million youths (ages 15-24) are illiterate and 21 million adolescents are not in school.”

This situation is quite alarming but you can do something about it!  Help to eradicate illiteracy in Africa. Illiteracy directly correlates to poverty, poor health, poor community development and active citizenship and empowerment.  It denies people of opportunities! You can make a difference today!
