Casa Foundation for International Development (Casa Foundation) was recently awarded a Grant by the Supporting Black Canadian Communities Initiative, Government of Canada by Black Business Initiative for the fiscal year 2021-2022.
Funding is to support the Black Community organization across Canada through the Supporting Black Canadian Communities Initiative (SBCCI) created by the Federal Government with the Black Business of Canada as an intermediary.
The funding will enable Casa Foundation to strengthen its Governance, Leadership, Diversity, and Inclusion policies and impact the Black Community widely.
Thanks to the Black Business Initiative and the Supporting Black Canadian Communities Initiative (SBCCI) that builds the capacity of Black-led grassroots and non-profit organizations that cater to Black Canadian communities. Casa Foundation is excited for the support and will continue to contribute to the socio-economic welfare of Black Canadian Communities.

Mentorship: Casa Foundation enables youth, women, and entrepreneurs to develop entrepreneurial skills, guides them through mentorship to become role models, build new businesses, and achieve their business goals.
Partnership: The organization promotes community growth and development through the exchange of ideas between youth founders and experts. It provides various platforms to celebrate women in business and leadership, to present business ideas at the B2B sessions, pitch sessions, and to network with entrepreneurs, and private and public sector decision-makers.
Sponsorship: Support the development and financing of entrepreneurial businesses and co-operatives of young entrepreneurs, women, and people from underrepresented communities.
