Rechie Valdez is the Member of Parliament for Mississauga—Streetsville. She was elected to office in the 2021 federal election. M.P. Valdez currently serves on the Standing Committee for Agriculture and Agri-Food as well as the Standing Committee on Veterans Affairs.

 Prior to getting elected, M.P. Valdez was an entrepreneur and previously worked in corporate banking. Additionally, M.P. Valdez was involved in philanthropic causes and was a not-for-profit leader
