The Casa Foundation for International Development is thrilled to present the 12th Annual Friends of Africa (FOA) Economic Summit 2022. Scheduled from October 12th to October 15th, 2022, at the opulent Westin Harbor Castle Hotel in downtown Toronto, Canada, this eagerly awaited event is dedicated to empowering startups, youth, and BIPOC businesses, as well as offering valuable opportunities for investors with an interest in the African continent.
The FOA Economic Summit has grown into a premier program for over a decade, fostering connections between professionals, businesses, and entrepreneurs with the wider public, private, and investment sectors. Leveraging the significant achievements of prior years, the 12th Annual FOA Economic Summit is set to make an even more profound impact by uniting prominent leaders and influencers from academia, government, industry, and the private sector.
The theme for this year’s summit, “Unlocking Resources for Businesses in the Global Economic Recovery,” is in step with worldwide efforts to revitalize economies. The summit will adopt a hybrid format, enabling attendees to participate in sessions either physically or virtually from October 12th to October 15th, 2022.
Virtual sessions for FOA 2022 will take place on October 12th and 13th via Casa Foundation’s Virtual Channels, including Youtube.com/CasaFoundation. On October 14th and 15th, the FOA Marketplace, Networking, Panels, and Roundtable discussions will occur in person, welcoming all delegates and local enterprises. The summit will culminate with a dinner meeting on October 15th, 2022, for those attending locally.
