Exchange | WEEx

Equipping Women to Build, Grow, and Lead.

Supporting aspiring and early-stage women entrepreneurs develop business skills, access resources, and overcome barriers to success.

About the Program

WEEx aims to expand economic opportunities for women starting or upscaling their businesses. Participants will learn core business principles, develop strategies, access resources, build partnerships, generate ideas, and present their executive summaries to an audience. This program is made possible with the support and sponsorship of TD Bank.

Eligibility Criteria

The program welcomes women entrepreneurs at all stages of business development, from early ideas to established ventures, provided their businesses are or will be registered in Canada.

Program Structure

Over eight weeks, participants will complete facilitator-led sessions once a week virtually from 5:00PM to 6:00PM every Tuesday. These sessions are designed to help develop participants’ skills in business development. The program covers a diverse range of topics, ensuring a solid understanding of foundational business practices, including management, finance, legal structure, marketing, and branding.

Participants will have the opportunity to join the Pitch Masters annual competition for a chance to win $5,000 in funding. Those who are not ready to pitch can focus on building their business foundation and choose to compete later, ensuring everyone gains the knowledge, skills, and confidence to present their business when they are prepared.
