Sola is the Principal Architect at Casa Developments, Nigeria. He serves on many boards in Nigeria and Canada. Sola Founded Casa Developments, Nigeria over 25 years ago as an Architecture, Design, Build, Project Development and Management firm. He has responsibility for all aspects of management, strategy, and development at Casa, and leads the project and commercial real estate strategy of its other Investee Companies.
Sola has over 35 years of experience in Architecture practice, and has acquired experience in Design-Build, Design development, Project management, and commercial management. As a professional in the real estate investment sector, he has consulted on project advisory, funds investment and advisory briefs for clients in the public and private sector.
He began his career with the UniLag Consult; the project firm of the University of Lagos in 1988. He designed its Awardwinning Friedrich Eubert Foundation Building in 1989. He founded Casa Developments in 1994.
Casa has designed, constructed and delivered over 30 Commercial buildings and other Residentials successfully in Nigeria. Casa Designed and built the Commercial Housing Students Apartments at Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Igbinedion University, several Public commercial consorts- including Banks, Hotels.
Casa has designed and /or project managed other public buildings including the SouthWest Civic Centre, Library, Market Mall, the legendary Ikogosi Warm Springs, and Splash World- Waterpark, all in Nigeria. Casa also provides infrastructural development services including the project for urban renewal and GIS mapping of some South West states in Nigeria. Sola holds a B. Architecture, M. Arch. Degree from the University of Lagos, and is a graduate of Harvard Graduate School’s Advanced Management Design Program. He is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and a Chartered Architect.
He belongs to professional bodies including the Nigerian Institute of Architects, Architects Registration Council of Nigeria (ARCON), Project Management Institute (PMI), and Ontario Association of Architects (OAA).
