August 2021: Government of Canada Appoints Casa Foundation to Manage BEP

Casa Foundation and others Approved to Manage the Black Entrepreneurship National Ecosystem Fund of $100m for Canadian Government.

Casa Foundation is very pleased to be one of the 30 Organizations approved by the Government of Canada to manage the Government’s Black Entrepreneurship NationalEcosystem Fund (BENEF), a $100m Fund (out of the ($401m BEP Fund) to support the development of Black businesses in Canada. The Honourable Mary Ng, Minister of International Trade, Export Promotion, and Small Business, Canada made the announcement on August 13, 2021. The Hon Mary Ng Announces the Appointment of Casa Foundation as program manager of Black Entrepreneurship Program (BEP)

Casa Foundation will launch its program implementation at an info session on the 31st August, 2021 on its new Black Advisory Hub (BAH), a National program for Black Entrepreneurs and supporting organizations in the Ecosystem. The services of BAH are available from the GTA and other cities in Ontario, and other BAH’s Regional Offices across Canada. For more information, check the website of BAH at:
